Curating

I am interested in issues surrounding the curation of moving-image based work, and in developing the role of the 'artist-curator' as opposed to the idea of the 'professionalised and certificated' curator. I've been involved as an artist/curator since around 1998 when I started to present artists' film and video art within the framework of artist-run projects. Since 1997 I've been an artist-curator with the Luna Nera collective of independent artists. From 2002 I have been involved in critical writing about a variety of art related subjects.
I produced the critical website SiteSpecificArt.org.uk

Since 2003 I have been working as an independent curator, and am interested in curating moving image works of all kinds.

Currently I am involved in curating video art and related events at Studio 75 in London and co-programming the studio's short films season.

Selected curatorial projects:
2011 "Rip it up! Mash it up! Stick it up!" Studio75 London
2011 "Prospero's Library" Studio75 London
2008 "Schematic: New Media Art from Canada" Space London
2008 "Schematic: Eric Raymond" Canada House Gallery
